ProvablyFair.org provides independent game audits, verification tools and certification services. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website and services.

Information you provide

When you contact us, request an audit or submit a report, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email, company, message and supporting material. Audit enquiries may also include technical contacts and game or system details.

Bet link and Bet ID checks

We retrieve the available public bet record from the casino to check it against the audited game code. For completed, matched checks, we store the casino, game, a hashed bet identifier, verification result, version information and check times in our database. These records support ongoing certification and prevent repeat checks from inflating the count.

Checks that need review

If a check is incomplete or does not match, we may retain its bet or transaction reference, settings, check results and diagnostic details privately for review. A check that is only waiting for a revealed seed is not added to the verification record. Seeds and full casino responses are not stored in these check records.

Manual checks and seed analysis

These calculations run in your browser. Their inputs are not sent to us as part of the calculation. If you choose to submit a report, we receive your contact information, notes and the evidence shown in the report form. Seeds and account details are not included automatically.

Technical information

Our hosting and security services may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device information, request times and error logs, to deliver and protect the service.

We use information to operate verification tools; maintain certification records; investigate discrepancies and reports; deliver audits; respond to enquiries; and protect our services from abuse.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.

What is public

Public verification activity shows aggregate counts and limited details of matched checks: casino, game, verification status and check time. It does not display bet IDs, usernames, stakes or seeds. Audit reports and certification pages also publish relevant casino and game findings.

What remains private

Review reports and contact messages are handled privately. We use service providers for hosting, database storage and email delivery, and share information with them as needed to operate those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining certification records, reviewing issues, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. You can contact us to ask about the retention of a particular record or request its deletion.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data; restrict or object to processing; receive a copy in a portable format; or withdraw consent.

To make a request, email info@provablyfair.org. We may need information to verify your identity and locate the record. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Technical storage and similar technologies may be used where needed to operate and protect the website. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking them may affect some features.

Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player and load when you open the video. The provider may process technical information when you use that content under its own privacy policy.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Please avoid sending passwords, private wallet keys or other unnecessary sensitive information in messages or reports.

Information may be processed in the United Arab Emirates and other countries where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for transfers, we use appropriate safeguards.

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion where appropriate.

Our website links to casinos, audit repositories and other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before sharing information.
